Retail Store Assistant – Walk in Wardrobe

Job type: Permanent, part time
Hours: 8 to 28 hours per week, across Monday to Sunday (flexibility needed)
Pay: £22,568 to £26,437 per year (full-time equivalent), paid pro rata based on the hours agreed

About us
Walk in Wardrobe is a fashion retailer that puts customers first and keeps ahead of the trends. We're looking for a Retail Store Assistant to join our team in store.

The role
You'll be a key part of the retail team and step up when senior managers aren't in. That means keeping the store running smoothly, supporting the team and making sure our standards stay high.

What you'll do

  • Keep the store looking its best through strong visual merchandising
  • Give customers great service and build relationships that bring them back
  • Run the tills and help keep stock records accurate
  • Act as a key holder, opening and closing the store and following security procedures
  • Train and support new team members

What you'll need

  • At least 3 years' experience in customer-facing retail
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory role, leading a team to hit targets
  • Proven visual merchandising experience, with a good eye for detail
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to juggle several tasks
  • A love of fashion and a good sense of current trends
  • A practical approach to solving problems on the shop floor
